Warranty FAQ

What exactly does the 12/12 warranty cover?

+

Both the parts and the labor on the repair we performed, for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the invoice date, whichever comes first. It only applies when iFix Cars supplied both the parts and the labor.

Why aren't customer-supplied parts covered?

+

We can't warranty a component we didn't source or inspect. If you bring your own part we'll still install it, but the repair is labor-only and falls outside the workmanship warranty.

How do I make a claim?

+

Call the shop at (470) 407-8847 with your original invoice number, or text (844) 427-8847. Bring the vehicle in and we'll re-inspect the covered repair at no charge.

Is the warranty transferable?

+

The warranty covers the vehicle and the original paying customer. Contact the shop if the vehicle changes hands and we'll review it case by case.

Does it stack with my extended warranty?

+

Yes. If your vehicle service contract paid for the repair, our workmanship warranty still stands behind the labor and the parts we supplied.
